project description
I spent a two-month artist residency based at Woodford Academy, documenting and looking at the furniture, materials, objects and trimmings of the space, to uncover possible personalities and social pretensions, as well as hidden or overt intentions. Using video and printed textile art, I responded to the historical artefacts with digital and handmade techniques, attempting to tap into a space where old and new technologies intersect.
