Korowal School

project description

We’ve been working with Korowal School for over 5 years now, and have thoroughly enjoyed not only creating advertising and marketing materials for them, but also working alongside them to improve and develop a recognisable and loved brand in the Mountains community. From artwork for their school buses, to annual reports, strategic plan documents, web design and business stationary - we’ve worked on almost everything together. Building a strong, long term relationship with our clients is a priority to us, and lets us get to know each other to a point where designing new materials is a seamless and well versed practise. “It’s a pleasure to partner with a group of creatives who enjoy our school’s success, and are genuinely committed to helping us meet our goals.” - Barbara Fitzgerald, Principal at Korowal School

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NGURRA

The City of the Blue Mountains is located within the Ngurra (Country) of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. MTNS MADE recognises that Dharug and Gundungurra Traditional Owners have a continuous and deep connection to their Country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region. For Dharug and Gundungurra People, Ngurra takes in everything within the physical, cultural and spiritual landscape – landforms, waters, air, trees, rocks, plants, animals, foods, medicines, minerals, stories and special places. It includes cultural practice, kinship, knowledge, songs, stories and art, as well as spiritual beings, and people: past, present and future. Blue Mountains City Council pays respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.
